Psychological Evaluation Services

What to expect: 

When your child comes in for an evaluation, our team will complete a comprehensive evaluation utilizing information from caregivers, observations, assessment tools, and a full review of medical history and prior evaluations. If appropriate, our team will complete a CMDE (Comprehensive multi-disciplinary evaluation), which determines eligibility for EIDBI (Early Intensive Developmental and Behavioral Intervention) services. Completing a CMDE will help expedite access to EIDBI services. Our team will provide IQ testing dependent on availability and request. 


Common assessment materials utilized during the evaluation may include:

· Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised 

· Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales – Third Edition - Comprehensive Parent/Caregiver form

· Behavior Assessment System for Children, Third Edition 

· Gilliam Autism Rating Scale – Third Edition  

· Adaptive Behavior Assessment System Third Edition

· Comprehensive Test of Nonverbal Intelligence | Second Edition (CTONI-2) 

· Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children® Fifth Edition (WISC-V) 

· WPPSI-IV Wechsler Preschool & Primary Scale of Intelligence 

· Wechsler Individual Achievement Test: Fourth Edition (WIAT-4) 

· The Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale | Fourth Edition (WAIS-IV) 

· Wechsler Individual Achievement Test: Fourth Edition (WIAT-4) 

· Wide Range Achievement Test 5th Edition (WRAT-5)

· Delis-Kaplan Executive Function System (D-KEFS)

Location: We are currently located in Bloomington, Minnesota for in-person autism evaluations. We offer flexible meeting times, please reach out for scheduling.

What is eidbi?

The Early Intensive Developmental and Behavioral Intervention (EIDBI) benefit offers medically necessary services and supports to people under the age of 21 with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or related conditions.

The purpose of the EIDBI benefit is to:

  • Educate, train and support parents and families of people with ASD and related conditions
  • Promote people’s independence and participation in family, school and community life
  • Improve long-term outcomes and quality of life for people and their families

making a referral

When filling out our referral form information, we ask you attach previous evaluations completed of the patient. For example, this may include speech therapy evaluations, occupational therapy evaluations, psychological or neurological evaluations, IEP evaluations, and any important medical information regarding the patient's development. Gathering historical information of the patient's development is imperative in providing a thorough, ethical evaluation. If a community provider is making a referral, please attach an ROI so we can connect with you. Autism evaluation will be completed in-person at our Bloomington, Minnesota location unless scheduled otherwise.
