What to expect:
When your child comes in for an evaluation, our team will complete a comprehensive evaluation utilizing information from caregivers, observations, assessment tools, and a full review of medical history and prior evaluations. If appropriate, our team will complete a CMDE (Comprehensive multi-disciplinary evaluation), which determines eligibility for EIDBI (Early Intensive Developmental and Behavioral Intervention) services. Completing a CMDE will help expedite access to EIDBI services. Our team will provide IQ testing dependent on availability and request.

The Early Intensive Developmental and Behavioral Intervention (EIDBI) benefit offers medically necessary services and supports to people under the age of 21 with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or related conditions.

When filling out our referral form information, we ask you attach previous evaluations completed of the patient. For example, this may include speech therapy evaluations, occupational therapy evaluations, psychological or neurological evaluations, IEP evaluations, and any important medical information regarding the patient's development. Gathering historical information of the patient's development is imperative in providing a thorough, ethical evaluation. If a community provider is making a referral, please attach an ROI so we can connect with you. Autism evaluation will be completed in-person at our Bloomington, Minnesota location unless scheduled otherwise.
